I felt a poem in this read...

Across two oceans and a timezone

I am split between two worlds

in my heart

Be utterly there,

someone said.

It helped.

The blog's proprieter don't respond to emails? Shocked, shocked I tells ya.

No doubt rehearsing her speech of acceptance for the Australian Literature Society Gold Medal. GO it!!

Hope we gets invites!

(Actually, hoping you are doing fine and too busy to bother with us. If you want a book by another free lance lady author, read "For Bea", about her adopting and life with a lost beagle).

Lovely and profound, Azur!
Art is an emotion in and of itself and awakens our deepest hearts, I believe.

always think it is very special when something of sentimentality can bring us to tears! I think it helps to keep our humanity in tact! sam

I love your writing, and this is one of your best.  It must come from the heart.

And yet, perhaps, you need not take the bus...
if, by your tears, you are home.

Sometimes the least sentiment, even happy moments
artificially set up in a drama or a commercial, set the tears flowing out of a clear mind. As I read this blog, Azur, I felt the urge to weep. That's some writing!  I hope today you'll look at something that warms and sustains, that you'll hear something that lets you know your value to those around you and brings a full measure of contentment.
