This doesn't just apply to a nation; it applies - or will apply - to civilization.

War doesn't end with the tyrant's defeat". I was reading somewhere that in the 2000 years plus history of mankind, more than 3000 wars have been waged. That makes an average of qne-and-a-half  wars every year. And when they are not warring they are planning for the next.

Phew! Your political poems are so powerful and with an uncomfortable ring of truth. Keep writing!

I really liked how you placed the imagery so strategically! This is an excellent poem! But, all of yours are as well! And I thought you comment on my poem was outstanding, it immediately gave it another dimension I hadn't considered! Very astute of you! sam

And questionable, as well.  Certainly, we should let the people of a country form their own institutions once  the shadow of tyranny has been lifted.

Building A Nation, in reality, is a lot different than planning it around a table.
