johnmacnab, the two movements are firmly interlinked
Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, were started initially by the same folks...in emulation of the British society..

This is one time I am not going to log onto your recommended site, majroj. I've had the runs for days - due to the heat, we think - and this morning my colon appears to be normal, so far. Apart from which I'm having breakfast. I notice in this area that the cruelty to children's building and staff are about 5 times bigger and busier than the animal one. There's something wrong with that.
