interesting juxtaposition of the mixed emotion of what to feel. So here we got a dead body, and what are they thinking about? Death is interesting because we can only experience it once, and then you can't even tell anyone about, or even share the exp[erice. Now, there's the rub!

shobana, an excellent picture contrast between one who loves life and
one who despises it and wishes he/she was dead..

A living death doesn't suit a romantic, bouyant person.

Hey Sam
So good to hear from you Sam. I thought you would be all tired out from the get-together! Oh dear, 28 years between them and she is only 21. I can understand your misgivings especially since he is older than her dad! Gosh, she is still so young to get married. I am ok sweetie just a little hot and bothered about a couple of things!!! but otherwise I shall survive.LOL. Big hugs and love to you too Sam, thanks for the visit.

Sadly I don't think you would like to live forever Shobana, most people think I've had enough, let someone else have a go. You are in the prime of your life, so don't worry, it won't happen for decades. The only problem will be finding room to stack all your disks of poetry.Of course if we started walking backwards we might grow a bit younger seemingly, but I have
to work out why. Now you have made me feel sad for some reason, but I a good poem makes one think

I loved the play on words! So marvelous! Well, you are my second read for the night! It turned out to be one busy day! The evening was capped off with the announcement of my niece's upcoming marriage in September! Normally I would be ecstatic beyond belief but this is a far cry from it! She is marrying a man who is older than her father, at age 49 and she is a babe of 21! It is so devastating how this man has weaseled his way into her existence! I find it shameful but I will keep my mouth closed and wish them well, but I cry internal tears for her! They want to start a family right away! He is in debt from nonpayment of his current child support and it is so difficult to get her to see the that he is not the one for her, infatuation as opposed to love! Alas, we all lie in state so to speak to use your term! How is life treating you my dear Shobana? Send big hugs and my love to you, too! Your sam

I will still get myself caught on your excellent poetry, too!

We have to be ourselves, I say. The worst thing we can do is live our lives for that significant other. The speaker grasps this concept, I feel.
