LOL??? Well, I'm glad you have a sense of humor! More to the point is the craft. Oscar Wilde once wrote the the purpose of writing is to reveal art and hide the artist. In this sense what I did like is that you constructed a window to look out of, and of course we are all going to observe different things, including our own thought experience. In other words, you didn't let thought interfere with the idea of possibility, but how else to should a painter approach a blank canvass?
So I quite agree: don't think, just write. The world could use a few more windows.

I love the idea that the crimson may be caused by raging storms within. Something like every cloud having a silver lining, but so much more poetic.

Thank you for liking my poem..LOL. I'm sorry but I had to laugh at your conclusion of my poem. I must clarify that my poems get my readers either bewildered, confused, lovestruck or plain irritated with me and also bring about concussion...LOL., and I really don't know why!! I know it is like beating around the bush (my poems) but that is the way I write them. Something must be terribly wrong with the way I think but when I write my thoughts down, I mostly mistaken it to be understood. Thought I would just let you know since you read it twice and confirmed your conclusion.

Hey Sweetie! Stunning imagery! I have been out trying to catch up on my reading and so amazed at how far behind I got! But this is exquisite imagery! Fine use of colors, too! I am sending a big hug and my love and will try to be caught up by tomorrow! My brother's daughter is in from the Midwest and we have a family get together at my house tomorrow! Grilling and playing horseshoes! Wish you could be here, it would be so much fun! Love you dearly! Your sam

Re: Shobana
Thank you for the visit and you being simple minded is way off mark CC. I know about the rose, my emoticons work according to their whim and fancy and sometimes I do really forget to send a rose with my message ( the age factor here again)

Hi Shobana lovely poem of course being simple minded I can't help but feel that this is a woman's passion which to her is as powerful as the blood red of the morning sky a form of sublimation presented delicately. You will have to imagine the rose, the site is a bit iffy.

Hey, me again
Just had another read, and I see I might have missed some of the counterpoints. But I still stand by my first impression: this is the concrete allegory of The Dawn.

Interesting and poignant use and choise of words. (thank god it wasn't another "Crimson Dawn"!) Quite a novel approach to a usual subject, and being so close to all that and still to turn it around anew. I especially liked the construct and the inner spacing of the voice--eg. the 1st and 2nd cycle of the recurring event. (I could almost hear it breathing, and then sighing). What's most interesting is how the 1st and 2nd parts (if there are any) are seemlessly integrated and I'm left (quite silently) with the impression of eternity moving thru time as recurrence...and this open arm thing at the end--what a welcome.

Other than that, I did like the poem.
