scope of vision
I enjoyed reading you blogs, Dennis from Bahamas.  You have a deep awareness of many issues and your analysis of poetry points to our responsibilities as writers.  I like to see familiar names in your comment list and I hope the communion of minds on Blogit can develop some power to challenge issues beyond the scope of our cyber meetings.  I'd like to read more from you. RoseyP. (blogger with Jamaica as a loved theme)

Hadn't thought about it in those terms
but it does seem to be a "no bribe. no action" mentality in the White House.  The bribe du jour looks to be "cap and trade", without which the Obama administration will do nothing about the "Tar Balls for Clunkers" washing ashore.

For me, it all comes down to a lack of leadership! And you are on the money with the third world scenario! sam
