I do most of my banking on line! I have money buried in my account so to speak and it keeps away those pesky overdraft charges! sam

it is something everybody can identify with one way or the other

the way I learned to do my checking is, write a check and the money is gone, the bank doesnt show it, but the check will come in whenever it does , so as far as I am conerned the money is not there any more once the check is written. That is why I never bounced a check in my life. That is the only way to keep your sanity.

What the bank shows is not important, what you write is very important.

Sometimes. I ask myself the same thing. When did the world change? And I don't know if I am intelligent or what intelligence really is. Or what it is used for. I guess what I am saying is that any type of awareness is either healthy, helpful or my favorite which is interesting.

Yup, I bank online too and I am investigating an unexplained 'Debit' charge but it takes days before they answer.

I do my personal banking on line. My husband is older and doesn't trust technology so he handles the joint account and I have some of my check direct deposited into that account, the rest into my account. I pay bills on line too. So much easier, but then my bank shows an almost instant updated balance.

I do everything on line... its simpler I think... but I am really bad at keeping my accounts balanced...  I was Ok while I could flirt my way to no ISF charges with my old teller but on line that does not work  so I have to be extra careful  loll... you were lucky they reversed it !  Good for you!  xoxoxo

I got on the online banking bandwagon a couple months ago. It's nice not having to wait for a bank statement. In terms of processing the bank I use (M&T) does take a bit.
