I understood this completely for I practice waiting in silence! I can see how the sinful things have to cleared for it is then that truth is realized and of course the ego is gone! No truer revelation for me than the unauthorized of the of the 'Vedas' citation and the loss of ego! It is easy if practiced as you aptly described! I, too, wonder if science has another dimension.
