She's a loser....she just let go her best chance of real happiness with a
nice man who was willing to try and make a family unit ...and put upwith her picky Mother. He willbe best off without her. I hope he just drops her and maybe she will realize what she had.

Your son was picking up on her pulling away very subtly before that week-end, he probably was not that suprised by what she said, hurt and trying to understand "yes", he would be confused at her reasoning, I can see that. So sorry he has to go through this/LB
