This post reminds me of my paternal grandmother. She was born in 1913. On her gravestone her birth year reads 1920...Some people just the idea of being thought of as old, I guess.

They can handle aging gracefully! Perhaps that is why her photo makes her look older! sam

I have never lied and neither did my mom, we usually looked younger up until the time I got all this well earned white hair

65 than an old hag 45 yr old .......I was born in '45 I have lived a full very full life...why lie? My Grandmother lied all the time about her age...when she died she was even older than any of her children even knew.
