Send him to a Dr.? for him to again escape justice? I give you he is sick... he has to be to have killed the way he did that girl and G-d knows how many others because "sickness" like his does not strike only once or twice. He is "sick" to kill but not "sick" to lie and make excuses for what he is done, to hide and run away from punishment... he knows how to avoid being caught in his lies, for that he is not "sick" He is not the kind of "crazy" that kills and kills until he is killed ... he is crafty and manipulative... no he is not "sick" he is crazy like a fox... BEsides... though "Sick" people should get treatment, that is true... "sickness" should not be an excuse for braking the law. Anyone that takes another life is in someway "sick" How else would they commit such a terrible deed? So should we eliminate all punishment and give treatment instead? Mental illness should not be an excuse for murder or rape or molestation... That guy should be tried and sentenced... if he does not get the death penalty that he so richly deserves then while serving a life term so that he can not help any more innocent girls he can get all the treatment his mom wants for him. Be well...

An evaluation couldn't hurt. It might not get him out of that prison, but maybe he would have some insight into his actions. He seems to have gone down after the Natalie Holloway incident and would have done better to come clean with a confession then.
