in essence I am against capital punishment, and I totally agree that it
will probably not deter other criminals who usually believe that they will never get cought.
However: someone who is jailed for the rest of his life is financed by us. His cost of living is high and we have to pay for him. Why should I pay for a murderer to stay alive? Especially if I am having a hard time paying for myself to stay alive and well.
