I generally write out my poems longhand and away from the keyboard
and, generally speaking, I compose on the spot. This is a vestige of my letter-writing days, which I preferred to phone calls, which were always hideously expensive and offputting. Sometimes, I will start to write one as a comment to another post and decide to post it myself.

Thank you Lauren for your words of encouragement. I would like to take this opportunity as I know you personally that I believe your talents are wasted. You have such a vivid imaginatation when you are writing that you should perhaps write books for children. As a child I used to love reading from an early age and used to pester my mother for more books to read. How that has changed nowadays the only thing kids want is the next new playstation game of fighting and killing. You are the next J.K.Rowling hopefully in the making!!

I read around the severity of my migraines and I write a poem when I am inspired! I don't have limits in either one! But I do wish a poem would come to me soon for I have had to re-post for a couple of days! sam

Time
Well, sometimes I feel not guilty and will try to find a poem on a disk and mess about with it.
Sometimes simple rhyming poems are written in an hour or so, what takes more time is replying to comments especially as one doesn't always know who one is writing too and I usually slip in don't mind what I say. 'You can say anything on my site is the usual response,' That must be taken with a pinch of salt. This is a long comment because I am fed up, I have lost my glasses. A little tip folk do not like long nick names and mine became abbreviated, but I was tired of it any way. I get up at 6am and try to do comments by 8.30am but it is a struggle. I think you will become popular, but it takes time. Be lucky
