Wow, I just got through putting the lyrics to the old Jethro Tull song "Locomotive Breath" on my Trivialities of Living post and then come here and you have train poetry.  I love trains.

Enjoy every moment...the next moment may never come. Shobana your poem has me pondering, even if one plans will it even change where the cards may fall. So sorry to here about your Dad. I'll say a prayer for him that his recovery is quick. You have a great weekend too.Flower

I will put your Dad in my prayers! I hope you have a fine weekend in spite of all that is happening! I love your poem, too! The thought of not getting off on the right platform in life so to speak is a bit frightening! Love you Sweetie and I have you in my prayers, too! Your sam

Passport
Yes there is a disconcerting side to every thing Shobana. Memory tends to be short lived if it hasn't affected one personally. I suppose it is a survival feature. I though that was a good poem that you had written on John's page. Two in a day. Hope your Daddy is comfortable it must be a joy to him to know that he has loving children. Happy weekend

We never really know what our destinations will turn out to be.  Some happy, some tragic, some magical.  Very good, thought-provoking poem.     I pray the best for your family and your dad.

My good wishes for your dad, hope he is out of the hospital soon. Today young, tomorrow wise........I loved the thought! Unbearable sights of a last month's train wreck still haunt me. Life is indeed fragile,so live the moment!
