Tzippy, thanks for the comment. As I replied to Wiley...
"I really don't care if it's a link to a site that is relevant to the post, but I don't really like it if it is a link to another site just to finish reading that post." Did you read this post? I explained that if it is relevant, fine, but I'm starting to see links posted to a totally different site just to read the BLOGIT POST I clicked on...ON Blogit. I think it might just be a new strategy I'll call Double Blogging. I can understand if one wants to promote their other sites, in fact, I've done that. But, I don't post "teaser blogs" and force my readers to finish reading elsewhere. Besides, there are too many questionable websites and links these days that contain viruses and adware. Oh, and yes, I'm all for freedom of choice.

I really dont think it shall matter to the reader
you should be able to post anything you want on your blog, we always have the choice to ignore the link. Personally I never use links, but I stand by the right to do so, and the free choice. What happen to freedom of choice in this world, does everybody want to be mandated on everything these days ; gee

Do you consider this list misleading
I have read and seen many blogs ,here on blogit and many other places, I will only click if I have the time of if I find it necessary to do.

That was a marvelous post and I totally agree, I don't get re-directed anymore to anywhere else unless it's in Blogit.

I agree, Timmy.
If it's on Blogit, keep it ON Blogit. At least a majority of the time. I don't have a problem with it if it's a specific post that was written elsewhere and someone wants Blogit readers to see the "big picture." But, otherwise, as you said, it should all be on Blogit.

Right, Taps. I agree but
I just don't like it when it happens too often. Not sure if it will fall by the wayside yet. I've only recently seen this happening.

I think you make a good point. But, apparently it is a valid thing to do and some people must like it, or it would fall by the wayside.

I am not troubled by the links; I just decide if I want to go further or stay with the post! sam
