I've puzzled over this too, but no idea - Your offering of an explanation
makes perfect sense, Strat. I mean why would any party or group - I've read the Republicans or Tea Party was behind it - risk their standing and credibility in such a manner? I don't believe they would. Thank you for sharing your perspective - politics in America, gotta love it right??..lol...

Imagine what could happen
if, say, someone really silly, who really really cared a lot about the situation got up a serious write-in campaign for a really viable candidate, and transformed that wave of voter futility and disgust to some sort of determination... How silly would that be, to really put someone in office who is there for the right reasons?

You are so right......craziness!! Who knows anymore? Dead people casting votes, illegals, it all comes down to who has the most money. BTW...I love those goofy movies. Kentucky Fried Movie is one of my favorites.
