So many people left England and came to Australia....my ancestors
all left for a better life in the middle of the 19th century but right through people left a from the British Isles searching for a better Way.

Lo Kabu I found that my printer software would copy sheets into word with a little experimentation, I just couldn't type this out again with two fingers, I am so glad you like it though it is a bit grim in places, but life was and still is for some folk.

Yes it is funny boys didn't like girls much, I suppose they developed later and probably didn't come into puberty  until a much later age. I bet you you didn't think the rock throwing was very pleasant, where are those rascals now ?

Oh my!  How wonderfully poignant.  I felt while reading it that I was in another world, way back in time somewhere in my childhood, and Edward Michael and Norman Crayton were still there and still throwing rocks at the outhouse while I sat inside.
