Dear lady this is exactly why I am involved in politics. To have laws that protect our own citizens, to keep this country safe, free and somewhat honest in the consumer service area will only happen through political responsibility. Good post.

Re: This seems to be a common sentiment
you and I are alike, its bad when everything is catered to one race, there are many languages spoken here, but they dont expect us to learn them all.

This seems to be a common sentiment
among immigrants who have come to the US and played by the rules and so on. I work with a woman whose parents came over from Cuba, gave up careers (he was a doctor, she was an attorney) for freedom. They started over in Miami, learned English and became citizens. Their children are very proud of their Cuban heritage but also very proud of their parents for making a new life possible for the children. They feel strongly if you come to this country to live you can retain your ethnicity without expecting the country to change to accommodate your lack of willingness to learn English. A lot of Americans feel this way I know, but I think the feeling is prevalent among legal immigrants also.

Doesn't seem worth complaining about. What's wrong with Spanish music? it's bright and jolly and fun - and only for a short while in a store. I bet they have Spanish music in stores in Germany!

L or L, I like diversity, and I like the idea of mixing forty thousand families of rich religious tradition in with the inner city. Lord knows we've been able to do nothing but decline there before now.
