I know dsm as kids we never liked eating our goose for Xmas and my poor Dad used to say we put him off it as well. We were probably trying it on poor old Jack etc.

Hi Kabu I was lucky to get this from sheet paper one finger printing is a bit tiring and it was only just over a hundred years ago. Of course I was a bit young then.

Oh poor Arthur......such sacrifice but he was happy till the end...but
still....sniff sniff........one can see that I have never been hungry in my life.......never had to eat road kill or a pet. Never had to go to bed hungry........never should have complained about anything when I look back and when I think of other lives in other less privileged countries. I am really going to enjoy this dear friend of ours.

Hollywood made a big deal out of children realizing that their favorite foods were -- or used to be -- their pets. I know, I grew up in a poor family in an honest town in Iowa; we always had supper on the table every night, and when I found ut that the ham we were eating was once Porky, well, I got past it quickish.
