Aha! Your close is also in a song by the pop rock group Bread! But, I bet you knew that! What a cool poem, I loved how you inverted the meanings and then the poignant pondering was superlative!!!! I love the angle you took with this one! I am so sorry that you did not know how to check for popularity on blogs! But now, I have it back, 1 that is, but I just checked and you were ahead of me for the daily clicks as it were so perhaps you recapture it tomorrow. Quite the deep thoughts you have there. This poem does a fine job in making the reader think.
