That kind of upheaval and excitement would give me writer's block too... and then when it was over it would give me inspiration to write

Mental Block
I would imagine it would be very strange if you didn't have a mental block at this stage.
It must be an emotional journey going back home, but happiness is the greatest priority or even contentment which is what most of us can hope for. Good luck

I believe you are preoccupied with this move, too! Amazing, 20 years and then leaving, it has to be as tough to leave as it is exciting to be back in Cali! It will all be better once you are settled into your new life! ENJOY!!!!! sam
