My husband says it is not because brain cells are dying, but rather as you age your brain has filled up with all the information accumulated over the years. That's why young people can remember where everything is at! LOL

I am not a hoarder and I keep clutter to a bare minimum and I still can't ever find what I need at the time I need it. Most of the time after a bit, I even forget what I was looking for or why I needed it in the first place.

Cleaning out will do you some good. I know that in my life that clutter effects my thought process.
