Having lived in the U.S. all of my life and influenced by American traditions I cannot comprehend this one. I feel that anyone should be able to buy a house regardless of their gender and marital status. If she can afford it why not?

my youngest son married and came back home to live
me downstairs and them upstairs. it was duplex and everyone worked really hard so no one interferred much with any one else. Eventually after a move together.......bad happened.
I think that you really love having your children home and goodluck to you that ir works so well most of the time.

My sons remained living at home until they married, except for the one who joined the Navy. Even then, after the four years of Navy were over, he came back home until he met Patti. Do sons do that more than daughters?

I think they are quite a close knit family and anything they do should have the blessings or permission from their parents lustorlove.
