- Go to And in New Zealand, Funeral Ban for 'Grim Eater'…
I've heard of wedding crashing but never funeral crashing, but in this
day and age, nothing really surprises me...this guy gives new meaning to the word "deadbeat"..

WOW! That is the last place I would think to crash for a free meal! It takes all kinds! But where there's food, and free, the '
Wake' up call will be sounded! lol Shelly

Did you ever see "Harold & Maude"?
Twenty-something kid, loves funerals, meets a 79-year old woman there, she steals the minister's car at the burial. He later sees her at another stranger's funeral, they get to talking and romance blooms... This story of yours is even more bizarre than the movie. I thought it was wacked when my an elderly relative put ziplock baggies in his pockets when he went to supper at the Home Town Buffet. Guess we never really run out of strange.

Oh well, if it's just to eat a bite and take home the leftover that would end out in the refuse anyway...I'll call that one of the 3 Rs: Reduce!

CIt reminds me of Paul Newman that crashes a funeral as a lawyer in The Verdict, and a novel about a woman that uses the ladies room in Manhattan funeral parlors because they’re clean. BC-A, Bill’s RJLst
