It can be a search! I think the key is to be ever hopeful and ever aware! These things seem to happen in the least likely of places! I thought this was a fine lament, too! sam

In Him you'll find
What you seek will be found. But a love of a person is only second best. The love of God is what we were made. Seek him and you will find the unconditional love that no person can offer. And once in Him you seek if still a person is what remains in your heart, a person He will send at just His right time. For it is always better to wait on God's best then to settle for second best. For good is never great and God has what's great.
