All I know is that after reading this, my brain hurts

Now that I think of it, my brain does kinda slow down when its hot
especially when its humid too. So from personal experience I would have to agree with the research, but I dont think that is a very scientific conclusion here. However, it is an interesting piece of work you dug out. Never a dull moment with you :)

Thinking about all this has a direct negative effect - Look at Al Gore..
Accadamia is the result of three too many scotches: Before too much booze the zigzag thinkers who came up with such were called Accidents Damnya!

I think what you describe really is happening. A scary backward moving process.

I'm with you on that global warming pea-size-brain theory! We can already see the side effect on some humans around us...

I think you're on to something, Naut!
Visualize this: hot summer day, late afternoon, people feel logy and dull, the needle on the smart-meter has gone from the bright green to the dull brown range. Comes along a cool, frosty glass of beer, or two or three, -- suddenly everyone's brilliant and beautiful.

Naut, according to that theory my ancestors, must be from Antartica.
Conversely, Marilyn's family must have originally been from somewhere smackdab on the equator, where her Cherokee ancestors all worked double shifts in a lead smelter, until very recently. This explains much.

How come the cooling didn't have the same effect on the animalkingdom!
I love allthese theories on the evolution of man.....and of course my ancestry for thousands and thousandss of years on and on....lived in very cold climates.
