Seems to me if a guy with a gun has entered your house and shot at you twice, that the love involved in the situation might just be a little lopsided, and perhaps ineffective.

there is a huge number of Criminals from Chicago....many are still in the city...the rest are in DC.

I need to ponder over this.....Wiley and I have talked about this.....
it is one of those gray areas for me and individuals have to protect themselves as they believe they should.

How stupid can the justice system get? He faces possible
charges to protect his family from a career criminal who tried to kill them and was probably too high to aim straight. I am too angry at this time to own a gun, but I commend those who protect their families from such situations.

He was acting in self-defense and defending his family. If he hadn't of, then he and his family would be dead.

Self defense is self defense. People on all sides, rep, dem, lib, whomever, are still torn on gun laws. Politicians remain undecided on such things until they see where the popular vote lies. They make a decision based on popularity. Sad but true. No matter what color they fly, when put in the same positon, they'll also fire upon a perp. Though locked up for defending myself once, I'll continue to do what is necessary to keep me and mine safe.

RSM, that is not a liberal issue
What we are seeing here is a case of liberal extremism. It is wrong. No liberal I Know has a problem with the idea of self-defense. I very much believe in the 'make my day' laws myself. Someone comes into your home and threatens you, you should have every right to defend yourself. There is no doubt at all about that.
To label this as being a regular liberal attitude would be the same as labelling the KKK as being average Christians.
I think I'm gonna take this story and use it in our next Amateur Skeptics podcast to show you just what average liberals think about such things.

Guns is Not the Answer to Our Problems
If guns are not the answer, why is it crime is up in Washington, D.C. and Chicago since the implementation of gun bans? While throughout the nation with the sales of over 70 million plus guns the nations average has gone down 43% in crime waves. The crooks must be laughing at their partner in crime--Major Daley.

Mayor Daley should face charges, tried, found guilty of being liberal then hanged! This has been out of hand for years. Yet another glaring example of how worthless liberalism is! Yes this is liberal thought behind this type of thought process. Liberals do not even want to give you the right to protect yourself in your own home. If any of you out there are still liberals after hearing this then you are the enemy and must be treated like one. There is no excuse nor any legal grounds for such a statement from Daley.
Good for the home owner! One less worthless criminal in the world. Great job!
