Since I've been in a labor room more than once on my own
and once or twice with a sister-in-law, I've heard some interesting and colorful interchanges between the laboring mother and the father-to-be-any-minute-now, mostly of the "don't you ever even think of touching me again, you (expletives deleted). I've never heard a guy crazy enough to tell someone in the birthing process to quit whining. It's a good thing he's walking the parking lot this time, where he's unlikely to put himself in danger. And I hope the mother and baby and everyone are happy and healthy and "fine as frog's hair" when this all shakes out. Hang in there!
