It is an awesome thing to have! I had one in my first home in Michigan, right from the middle floor bathroom to the laundry room! It does indeed save the steps! sam

My older sister asked for one of those when her house was built back in the 1970's. It came to be one of her favorite things about the house. Me? I just lugged everything down from the bathroom and bedrooms upstairs to the laundry room off of the kitchen, and wished, every time, that I had a laundry chute.

We recently put a laundry chute in our bathroom. The laundry lands in a basket on top of the dryer. I also like it to use to talk with the ones downstairs!
