Mom used to say folks who used profanity all the time were just lazy.
There are certainly more descriptive adjectives that fill the bill, she'd say. And the best part is that half the time they won't quite know what you said until they're somewhere else.

Things are so vulgar today. Watching children's television will give you a cabinet of words you would never have been able to speak as a child nor would have allowed your child to speak. My daughter looked at me in disgust and said "absolutely nothing is Taboo any more". That makes parenting much harder. Some of the TV networks don't give a tinker's damn about people period. They are void of gray matter.
