It seems like I did the right thing a few years back when I decided to forgo Lost, after deciding that not even the writers knew where it was going.  The Simpsons?

I really liked some of the characters..
but could never get into the story.  Interest faded...

I don't/haven't watched any of those things, so you are making me feel like I
have really missed out on something.

I watched the first episode of LOST years ago when it first started. I got really irritaded when I couldn't find it again the next week and any time I saw it advertised after that I said to heck with it. LOL

Re: 24 is over, too!
I watched 24 during the zillion commercials on LOST. I had to see if Jack completed his mission, and the bad guys got their just desserts. It was a satisfying ending, and left room for a sequel, maybe...

LOL.....

From the first episode... I said they were dead and in a purgatory like location.......for years the producers and actors have denied such a plot line........I didn't watch the last 2 or 3 years...I quit with the episode where they were in the zoo cages on the other side of the island.

And now 24 is over, too!
