This set off this fleeting memory of House of 7 Gables (Hawthorne)and this suspended chap where the old guy is already dead sitting in his chair, and Hawthorne begins with the ticking of the clock, as if to wonder why this guy is not waking up, as he goes thru the whole description of the room. Hey, its time to get up but the guy is dead, so "why are you just stitting there?". I liked the juxtaposition of moments as stream of consciousness, but wondered about the abscence of an inner mirror--not that every subway ride needs one.

ha..ha..lol. you are cute CC. It is a very serious lesson..ok. I do wear my bedroom slippers but that did not help much!

Well Shobana not being one to joke, I would advise you to wear slippers. I don't know if you meant this to be funny or a serious lesson to avoid being forgetful. One must assume the latter and has such it is a delightful learning process.
