The Eckankar faith has a great philosophy. This is my first time to hear of it. In a meditative state I've heard of traveling to other places..fascinating. But I've only flown in my dreams and that was only about two times that I remember, and very different from this. I had been to New York only once, well twice, my senior year of high school to see the play "A Chorus Line" off Broadway at the Shubert theater, and flew over it in my Uncle's little 6 seater airplane when I was 8 or 9. Anyway I'm writing a novel, LOL! I was in awe of New York and it's Mass of people. One of my favorite musicals is "West Side Story". But there's nothing romantic about the gangs of New York. Anyway Tzippy, I'll keep reading....

I really appreciate the effort you took in providing that explanation - but I don't understand a word of it, LOL... I can only think in terms of
historical, i.e.
cultural,
social and
psychological factors (variables), with a bit of
economics thrown in as well...

Reason for hate
People will always find a reason to hate especially if they don't know the love of God.

Excellent responses! I believe that anyone who believes in God whole-heartily will not be harmed! The Jews are His chosen but He loves everyone equally! sam

Persecution is both senseless and evil - yet is often practised by those who claim to be religious. I believe there are many paths to God, and anyone who is truly spiritual will find their own path. Who are we to say that any one path is better or worse than any other path?

Re: However, Jews have been persecuted way before Jesus came around
so this is not related to the topic at hand, as to why, If Jesus was why than Jews would not have been persecuted before his time. Furthermore, Many other people rejected Jesus as their lord and savior and they are not persecuted, so than why the Jews? that is the question at hand.

I'm a little behind on here... sorry but if I might shed some light the Jews are God's chosen people. But when Christ came they rejected him. Thus it states that they will be persecuted till the end of times but they will never fall. God's hand is upon them still. This might be old testament reference I'm searching for the actual quotes. If I find them I will post them.
