There has been an explosion of life up here as well, Pat. Yesterday we had our first hummingbird. This week the garden is suddenly all green. One of the two baby robins from the fir tree has decided to venture out of its nest. It looks so gawky without a tail, as it sits on the deck rail to study us. Sometimes it sits on the back of a lawn chair to study us, which is when I do wish it would wear a diaper.
