Loss of a beloved pet . . .
Hi PK . . . I too, feel the pain of losing a longtime pet. After being a cat-person most of my life . . . I decided to get a puppy. She was a beautiful Lhasa, and loved to go camping with my son and I, where she knew there would be lots of other doggies around.
When she saw me from the window, hooking-up my Terry-5th Wheel, she never let me out of her sight. Ya! Like I was going to leave her home! She was with me for over 13 ½ years. About 6 months later I brought a new puppy/Lhasa home-Daisy Dew. She gives new meaning to the term: Lap-Dog. I don’t camp anymore—got a bit up-in-years for that. Also, being of the feminine gender, I don’t have the physical strength to handle a rig anymore. Sure do miss it tho’ . . . take care . . . thanks for a lovely story. ja
