No advice here because I have never lived in your place or walked in your shoes.  May you walk in the Son shine of God's love.

I understand its tough, many say it is worse than kicking a cocaine habit,

but you absolutely, positively need to kick your cigarette addiction.

You do not need cigarettes.

You do NOT need cigarettes.

YOU DO NOT NEED CIGARETTES!!!

You DO need the lunches you have been skipping in order to have a pack of cigarettes or two a day.  Up until a few years ago, when I was working in New  York City, I would have a $1 lunch of a hot dog on a roll with mustard and sauerkraut from a street vendor.  Before 9-11 and when I had a bigger appetite, I would have sesame chicken over rice and a orange soda from my favorite hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant for $3.  Even afterward, I was able to get a decent go-without-dinner lunch for $4 or less.  I could easily go through a couple of weeks working in New York on what you spend on cigarettes each day!

Best wishes on quitting "cold turkey".  Maybe you should treat yourself to a turkey sandwich on what you get from selling your remaining cigarettes.

poverty is a state of mind,
that being said, I have been without money to eat. I know where to get an entire meal for a dollar, I know how to survive on two dollars a day etc. but I always knew that god will provide, and magically, he always did. Now, everything is changed, I am no longer in poverty. If I can do it, anybody can. You  need to start at the begining with your mind, i say buy my posting here and start today, magic will follow.

I've been down to my last ten dollars with three children to feed. That was a dark day and I was nigh to grabbing a cardboard sign...when out of the blue my pastor called, saying he had a feeling I needed some 'help'....and did I need some money to pay rent...did I need some food at home, etc.? I will never forget that day. Somehow we get through, but for the grace of God, eh?
