Good Question!
Probably not, but could it do one or two kids a little bit of good not to feel like a loser?  I don't know.

In life there are going to be peole who outperform others. To deny that does no one any good.

I think it's not about winning or losing but about we are playing the game,
so to say. And perhaps we need to see in that light....getting trained to get a joy from doing something and not necessarily from outdoing someone.

If one never loses, how does one learn to strive harder? I think we are raising a generation of underachievers who will expect to be rewarded for doing nothing other than showing up. Sad.

For goodness sake...I find it just sad. A little competition and yes
a loss or two grows character.

TT
Well, we can't traumatize the little things, can we? That's why in some schools they no longer give out grades, and who cares if they're illiterate...

No Timmytales, if everyone wins there will not be a competitive edge anymore and excellence will be a passive word imho. Thank you for sharing and your visit. I love the rain when it drizzles..think I am growing old ..lol seem to appreciate things like this these days.
