I do not have a garden. My mother does though. She does the maintenance on her own without my sister or I.

We always had produce gardens. My mom was a serious green thumb. Plants and flowers everywhere. I remember summers with friends; all of us kids would be shucking corn or shelling peas...and we loved it. My husband and I don't have time, but I support my local farmer's markets.

I don'tgrow vegetables...I can gotothe markets easier forlocal produce
all my energy is in planting trees and flowers. I am out everyday I can be.

I have a garden, and I even enjoy it. But I don't
work in it, I certainly don't plant anything. That's my LSW's domain, and that's fine by me...I actually did put in some tomato plants a few years ago, but that's a long story, too long for a comment at this time of night...
