LOL, this is cute dsm, Jesus will be glad you found him at Mcds. Salads to bring down blood pressure (If I may just give my humble opinion) should be made at home. Celery and star fruit make great salads that help and also brings down the weight. Good Luck with that.

That is so great about finding the salad. Who would have thought McDonald's could have had something that can help years ago?

Sounds like a good thing--the salad, not the song.  LOL

Great blog...we don't eat out anywhere much any more.
we do buy the weight watchers frozen meals ...we stopped W/W but continue with the points system and exercise and slowly but permanently...off comes the weight....for us both.

My husband is dealing with the same things... He fluctuates between 280-300 lbs.  He has high blood pressure, and we've recently found out he has type-2 diabetes.  I bought him a diabetic book for all the food places.  Mickey-D's salads are ranked high for their heath benefits.  Good luck with your efforts for a healthier you.

sometimes you have to be careful of salads, but it sounds like you did your homework.  Good for you and the blood pressure, I would say that is perfect.  I know the struggle of trying to lose weight
