I'm amazed at what kids know nowadays myself, and I thought I knew too much! As for whose responsiblity it is to teach children morals it should be the parents/guardians. Now with regard to how much blame the teacher and school should receive what really has to be taken into account is the situation. Some things cannot be helped by teachers. Other times their actions play a direct or indirect role in those awful actions. I am not sure what category this one falls into.

It takes a community to raise a child! When they are in the care of the school, the school is responsible and must be held accountable! This is just my humble opinion! sam

Well, I don't know what to say about kids these days. I think it is a joint responsibility and of course it starts at home. The teachers are partly responsible too as the children spend most of their day in schools lustorlove.
