Thanks Sam, I thought I'd play with an old saying and see where I could take it

Re: Snowview
Thank you.  It is a sad thing that the human race is still destroying irreplaceable beauty in search of money.  Surely it's time we started to work with nature before it's too late.

Re: Rockingrector_retd
thank you.  the joy of a dream boat is that you can have it pulled by furred water dragons if you like. mine just sails itself while I lounge on deck with a nice glass of wine

Re: TAPS
dreams do tend to be more comfortable than the reality... but they do present that lovely image

Lovely imagery as always. Thanks for your comment; I do hope you visit India/the jungles some day. Yes, the man-animal conflict is costing a lot of lives, unfortunately due to lack of awareness, poverty, greed, survival of the fittest--some steps are being taken, but woefully inadequate. Both sides feel threatened and the environment and wildlife have to be given greater attention.

I love your dream boat (although I might need it to have a motor...)

A "dream boat" and an "imaginary sea" is wonderful.
The real thing not so good for me.  I've never yet been on a boat, ship, sea craft of any kind where I didn't toss my cookies.  Great poem.  I'll sail away in my dreams.
