Could it be that your husband is enabling the guy?

Follow your instincts...  Mine always prove to be correct.  My friends have found that out the hard way.  The way I handle it is to gently state my feelings, then stand back with an eagle-eye.  Whatever it is that caused my unease will surface, then my friends finally understand.  Protect yourself and your home the best way you can.  Go easy on your husband.  The truth will come out...  Maybe later than sooner, but it will happen.  Your husband will have learned a lesson, and he will begin to trust you more.

Instincts rarely fail us! It is not a matter of issues but a matter of uneasiness! I would not want someone around I did not feel I could trust! Now git someone in to fix that sink before you have an unnecessary argument! lol sam

I don't think you are mean. This guy is clearly not the kind of relative you want to leave by yourself. Besides, you had made your feelings on the subject quite clear to your husband.

I agree that we all have issues, but I think a person sould follow their instincts.  That's why we have them--a little forewarning.
