wow, I hate to say this , but I am so glad to hear that I am not the only

one. Not that I want you to suffer, but at least I am not alone. I am with two daughters who think the world evolves around them. But I must say my older one is getting just a tiny little bit more tolerable, although I am still aching from her behavior.

But, my best advise to you is be very carefull for what you wish because you may get it. Rather than wish she was gone, wish and visualize her with a different attitude, and magically it will happen, because you dont realy want her gone, you want her changed. Go for it!

All that I can tell you (from experience) is that it does get better. They do come around eventually. Hang in there!!!

I thought teenagers' mumbling was just a North American phenomenon - now I see it's probably universal...And I'm sure E will get over her revolutionary phase, they all do in the end. Of course, until that happens...Yeah, sending her out into the world may well be the answer...

Having raised three daughters, we have had our ups and downs, but they seem to always come around - you mean more to her than she'll admit - at least right now.

It's about tough love! But I assure you, she will need you more when she is gone! Going through a bit with my daughter and their revolutions and experiences just wear us out! Be strong! I am trying, too! sam

Happy Mom's Day!
I'm afraid I'll be no help... all I can say is that I dread what I have to look forward to with A... *sigh* The Japanese here just don't have the same mindset as us, but then it would probably be impossible for E to live on her own... but.. having said that...she WILL appreciate you one day... I know it... keep your chin up!
