Since Disney cartoons replaced the shadow-puppet shows, on our cave walls,
Well, with no exaggeration whatever, the very first cartoons I remember watching were ship bound, silent, stick-figure mice, (more than likely, anorexic RATS!) dancing to rag-time piano music, up and down a ship's rigging, with linked hands, linked as in a "Daisy Chain!" For some reason, every time that I try telling two of the fellows at work, this story about a large number of prancing, dancing, prancing, dancing, Daisy-Chain linked rodent sailors, uh did I already mention the pranc........"Not that there is anything WRONG with that," OH, NO! Jerry Seinfeld must be guilty of prejudice against HMOs. I don't have any kind of health coverage, now.
We already knew that Cramer, Newman, Elaine, George, and half of New York City,.............shall we say that they all choose to live unconventional, untraditional, definitely not what grousing, Grumpy, Granpa Walter and Achmed the wildeyed terrorist, would call respectable, old-fashioned, Christian, (OOOOPS! Sorry! No offense Achmed, don't kill me!) judgemental, and Jurymental too! ............
Where was I? Oh yeah, at about this point in my story, those two guys at work, always get all sweaty and flushed about the face, quick shallow panting, and looking meaningfully, at each other, acting all twitchy & itchy-like, then after a couple of minutes, both of them disappear for an hour or so! As I say, there is nothing intrinsically wrong with that, I just never realized that these guys were such talented and dedicated dancers, is all. The only song lyrics the mice seem to have learned, are, "La, LA,- La, LA!"  same chorus, and repeat, insessantly. The ratlets are all tone deaf, and B flat, too!
Oh and after, Disney came out with "Steamboat Willie" and someone else  "Popeye, the Sailor"..... Man, oh man!!! Don't even get me started about those two girls!!! Popeye, Bluto, Wimpy, Willie, & Olive Oyl! Well, everybody already knows what they say about sailors, and I guess that after many, many, long, days and nights at sea, eventually it is practically inevitable that even the UGLIEST of people will eventually be able to get laid, regardless. I don't want to even PICTURE that fivesome in my mind! Hope that they don't invite poor Hydrosephalic Betty BOOP, to their next orgy! Olive is used to fivesomes, but with a seriously sexy, sixsome, well there is just no telling what could happen! Hope no children will be produced! I suspect that that ugly little floor polisher, of Olive's, came to be born as a result of one of these orgies. (Ever heard the term, "Bumpin' Uglies?") That kid Sweet Pea is so ugly that there is probably no more ugly left in all the rest of the neighborhood.
Different strokes for......Uh, Let me rephrase that.
            Guy
If I click on the box down here in the lower left-hand corner, it will erase this whole mess, right? Yeah, DELETE! Thanks!

Hi there Jeff.  Hope you're well?  If you order the boxed sets through amazon.com, you should be able to get them fairly cheaply.  If that doesn't work for you, do you get either the cartoon network or boomarang cartoon channels?  I'm pretty sure you can still catch reruns of the show there.

Glad to have another ROCKY AND BULLWINKLE fan on board!  If you haven't yet seen the live film version with Jason Alexander and Michelle Phiffer, it's a blast.  That's also being re-released on 1 June and is rumored to contain some cool bonus stuff!

Thanks for stopping by.

I Liked R&B as a kid
I'd probably like it more now since I would get the jokes.
