Nikkie, you just gave me a great idea!
I would love to do an entire series of posts on just how to avoid getting into that kind of situation. Kids can't help being abused, but men can help being batterers and emotional abusers. And we adult women do not have to be victims.

Please don't stop writting and educate us. I am a child of physical and verbal abuse and have worked very hard in not becoming the product of my environment. People need to know that there are things they can do and that IT IS NEVER TOO LATE to break the pattern. Thank you.
