I often think about what really retiring would allow me to be able to do!
There is never enough time to accomplish much, now. If I did not have to go to work each weekday, be Marilyn's caregiver, bounce between two houses, shopping, lawn care, gardening, cooking, etc. would I get a lot more done? Maybe, maybe not. I am highly suseptible to the influence of my extremely dominant procrastination genes. My problem is that there is always tomorrow!
When we are both residents of MY house, will there ever be enough money that I could afford to retire? Not while Marilyn can still spend money with both hands. When she is gone, I hope that I will have what it takes to live entirely alone, but for a few loyal animal companions.
Animals nag silently, don't talk to me
or to
themselves incessantly, and are almost always a pleasure to be around. They don't go shopping EVERY
*#@%& ing DAY, either. Their offspring and
THEIRS, can be given away, without drawing unwanted attention from governmental authorities, concievably even SOLD. Nah! Not possible. Nobody would want to buy.............Hmmmm. MEDICAL TESTING FACILITIES! Anyone interested in buying a family of rare talking monkeys?
