I do love a good read. And I love it when good books 'find' me somehow. It's uncanny sometimes. I'm sure these authors' names will come up again and again in my lifetime if I don't happen to pick them up right away. But now that they're on the forefront of my mind; I'll be looking out for anything written by them. I do appreciate that!

I must have watched his show occasionally, though I don't recall when. (Outside of the Discovery Channel, and baseball in summer or hockey in winter I don't watch much TV, period) but I remember him as a pleasant man. Barry Lopez' book sounds interesting - I'll be looking for it on my next trip to Chapters, probably tonight...

I liked his show, he was a real gentle man, and his shows were so informative. I liked the read of Lopez and as Kabu said, I'd just like to go on reading him. Great post luv

Wiley knows him, enjoyed him but of course this Aussie is still learning allsorts of stuff.

I've never watched him, but several of my friends really enjoyed his
show.
