Fighting like dogs & cats.
I know that animals are capable of feeling embarassment. I've observed this many times, and I'd be willing to bet that you have, too. Cats are so haughty and regal, it makes those embarassing moments even more enjoyable to us humans. Dogs are generally such good-natured chuckleheads, that their's are but momentary distractions and then are quickly forgotten. Dogs have the attention span of old fruit flies and young toddlers. More than once, I have seen deer try to hurry across blacktop pavement, and have their hooves slide out from beneath them, sprawling and sliding because pavement is slippery regardless of the season. I can clearly read the looks on the faces of the deer, as they fall in slow motion, and believe me, they are wishing that nobody had witnessed what just happened. I don't know how they do it, but after I have gone on down the road, I just know that all of the deer's buddies rag on him or her, without mercy.
