Great post and totally true except for that little thing Kabu brought up... the LEGALITY  of this issue.  They are here "illegally"  and there is no way around that.  Laws are made to be obeyed and if we are going to go around  them whenever we think is right, why having them at all?  If  these latin american immigrants are good as you say , and I believe most of them are, then let them come here legally.  Let us change the laws so that its easier for good law abiding people to come and be one of us... but legally, the ones that chose to disregard out laws should be sent back to learn that ours is a country of laws and that they can not begin to change their lives for the better by changing ours to the worse. They , the illegal immigrants, should neither be abused  because of their status nor used as political pons... They should be sent back. After we get our house in order and gain control of our borders, then and only then, they can be welcome back to become productive members of society.  Be well  xoxoxo

I can see both sides of the story. I just wish that there could be some sort of compromise.

And sooooo many potential voters, just raring to go get free healthcare, a monthly check, becoming one of the entitled masses.....beholding to their progressive benefactors.  Yeah, that sounds like a plan.  Oh, wait!  Somebody already has that one...

j They’re the black bean soup in my blue eyes. In this area many are business owners or managers of major fast food chains. And like us God’s little helpers with making the country run. BC-A, Bill’s RJLst

I feel it is best to object to an idea rather than people in particular.  I happen to agree with you overall, on this issue, but also like MandaLee and many of her writings.

Re: WOW..........but why can't they be legal if they are so good for the

Exactly Kabu. the only ignorance in this debate is that some people have the simple problem of understanding what the word ILLEGAL means. I have no problem whatsoever of these 'fine and good" people coming into this nation legally but not illegally. What is the problem with that statement? The truth is that liberals want all of them to stream in so they can count them as future voters in their corner. Same goes for the liberals push to make Puerto Rico state #51. It is that simple but the libs just do not want you to know that so they lie.

Next topic!

WOW..........but why can't they be legal if they are so good for the
country, I mean we have worked so hard to make me legal here, that is why I expect that I don't understand how people can walk into a country and just stay.
