An untouchable kind of sweet to be only experienced in moment(s) of death.. A death of a dream is the revealing of hope in a wonder of life after life...

The most poignant part was the Lord lifting the burdens! I have experienced this, too! sam

Re: Man's tears
actually he did marry, 3 times, he just couldn't shake the memory, that is what he meant when he talked about living his life searching for 2nd best, it is a sad story, hard to do justice to it in two poems, maybe someday i might try to write a book, he was a fasinating and loving and kind old man.

Man's tears
I think probably this is so sad, It probably happens in many cases and if the old man had married he would have forgotten his first love. He actually I think was in love with love which can play many tricks, everything is more desirable when it is unattainable. Misery can hold one to ransom, this is so sad because he probably did not tell anyone. So there Sir is my humble theory and it is sad that more people did not read this.
